Jagdishor Panday is a journalist, author, and researcher.  He is a Deputy Chief Sub-editor at the Kantipur Daily newspaper and ekantipur.com (Kantipur Publication Limited) where he writes on Foreign Affairs, Security issues, and political issues. Previously, he worked for The Himalayan Times as Principal Correspondent. Panday completed his Master's Degree in English Literature from Tribhuvan University, and a Post-diploma course from the Asian College of Journalism, Chennai, India. He contributed to a research report called 'Nepal Efforts to Address Covid-19 Crisis through International Engagement' for the Institute of Foreign Affairs, the government think-tank. He is also a part-time lecturer of Mass Communication and Journalism. He authored a book on cricket 'Bishwa T20 Cricket ka Sarathiharu' in 2014. He is a United Nations RAF Fellow in 2021 and 2023.
